About Me
I’m a Software Engineer with a focus on web and data solutions, and a graduate of Duke University (Computer Science, Class of 2023). My professional experience spans roles at Microsoft, Headset, and DSA Laboratories, where I’ve contributed to projects spanning API and data integrations, analytics dashboards, UI improvements, and plenty of bug-smashing. These opportunities have sharpened my ability to solve problems across the stack while delivering work that adds real value for users and teams.
Outside of tech, I recently spent 14 months backpacking across Australia and Southeast Asia, an experience that shaped my perspective on exploration, adaptability, and creativity. I’ve shared some of those adventures on my blog — the posts may be simple and silly, but I think they capture the fun and curiosity of the journey. More recently, I’ve split my winters between ski instructing at Aspen Snowmass and software development, combining my love of teaching, movement, and problem-solving.
I’m driven by curiosity and growth, whether that means learning a new technology, refining my craft as an engineer, or immersing myself in new environments. I bring the same mindset to my work as I do to my adventures: thoughtful, hands-on, and always looking for the next challenge.
